this year we have a bigger line-up than ever before (over 60 artists) more STAGES than ever before (brand-spanking-new Rock Stage featuring awesome CLUB BLUB & Rhodes Rocks acts) a whole new fresh look and of course the classic Green Stage, Arts Marquee and Acoustic Marquee. plus a huge host of stalls, stand-up comedy, the beer tent, live sessions popping up everywhere, a chill-out tent, artistic displays (including sculptures) and much more; SMF 2009 is going to be amazing.

an explosive exposition of the dazzling creativity and inspiration that surrounds us. who needs the mainstream big-names that the media have been paid to tell you about? let's get together and marvel/party/play/sing/dance/celebrate to our very own artists.

2nd & 3rd MAY is Stortford Music Festival weekend; and we want to start a creative revolution.

Refreshing where the live event has stars all over the place (especially dancing about in front of the stage) Enjoyed all the stages/areas (and the 7% cider!) and thought that the line up on the Rock Stage was QUALITY and actually better than some of the identikit fodder of new band stages on some of the bigger music festivals. Hope that you all had a good weekend. East Spanglier (i.e. Herts/Essex & East Anglia) is the place to be. Music Tourist Board recommends!
