The STORY Collaborative to End the War in Iraq is an effort to bring you(th) from diverse backrounds (military families, immigrant families, rural + urban, students, activists) together with young Veterans of the Iraq War to share stories, strategies, and solutions. Join us!

The smartMeme STORY program (Strategy, Training + Organizing Resources for Youth) works with students and youth across the US who are developing creative solutions to our worlds most troubling problems: racism, war, injustice, eco-disasters and the corporate media monolith.

renault	Sep 10 2007 12:51 AM an idea to help end war: show the soldiers their future. every city in america is full of ex-soldiers and war vets begging for money (whoever you are, wherever you live, you've seen them). if someone were to go around the country and count them, the number would be in the hundred thousands. show these beggars to the soldiers (in person or show them pictures) and let them know that, for almost all of them, that will be where they end up, the reward for all their service.
