ANNOUNCING:THE STORY OF AEGUS © MIND-LIGHT STUDIOS
Aegus, a once beautiful and magical world; Now on the verge of destruction.
The Humans, an intelligent and resourceful race, and the Magi, the ones blessed with the Magic Spark, lived in subtle harmony for centuries; Foolishly some Humans turned to the ancient dark arts, using its power to transmute the power within Aegus into pure energy; Krystol. With this new energy source the humans invented mystical machines, capable of nearly any task. Aegus thrived with the help of this new-found energy, and for a time, there was peace.
But, as the years passed, darkness began to blanket Aegus. Humans soon developed powerful technologies born of an evil mind and destructive thought. Their leaders began turning their interest from the well-being of the citizens to economic gain and capitalism. Their lust for power made them blind to their own wickedness. The hearts of men were easily corrupted. Many Magi could sense an impending danger and went into hiding. Some were never seen again. Having grown accustomed to this new technology many Magi stayed hoping things would get better.
With each passing day, the dependancy on Krystol grew. All the while, Krystol itself was diminishing. Panic swept across the realms. Some small villages, on the other hand, where unscathed due to their natural sources of renewable energy such as wind, water and sunlight. But the rest of the world was in utter turmoil. Citizens demanded action!
The political leaders of The Three Maine Realms joined forces to provide a solution for the world's energy crisis. They called themselves 'The Enlightened Ones' and their answer was a mysterious synthetic krystol.
Shortly after this union, a decree for the arrest of all magical creatures within the realms went out. The Magi that still lived among the humans were now considered outlaws and any HUMAN citizen of the Three Realms was entitled to a small reward for the capture. A small war ensued. Magi against human, friend against friend, until finally, all the remaining Magi were collected and put away. Never to bee seen in Aegus again. All the Magi, but one....
We'll follow the adventures of Zip, a fight savvy fire Magi that doesn't talk, and Toby, an uncontrollable kleptomaniac that doesn't know when to shut up and smokes constantly.This one you HAVE to look out for!
