Storytellers' Club is an amazing place for performers who like telling stories, and for audiences who like hearing them. Join us for a night of wonderous tales, followed by an eve's-worth of literate indie music. Warning: this is NOT LIKE A NORMAL STAND-UP COMEDY CLUB.
It's going to be great, yes, but don't expect set-up, punch, set-up punch. Nay, this is arty, leftfield, long-form comedy in a weird & wonderful bedouin bar that is bathed in the red hues of a bordello. We are a monthly club in London, as well as touring some of the world's biggest (and smallest!) festivals.
At Storytellers' you could hear comic tales, ghost stories, travel anecdotes, mysteries, horror stories, adventure stories, stories set to music, and of course, the odd love story. And because they're told by experienced comedians, you'll find that most stories will be at times heart-rending, as they are side-splitting.

Who I'd like to meet: Fun, funny, intelligent, literate, arty people. Those who are open to new, wonderful things. Those who like thoughtful indie music.
And those who know why there is an apostrophe on Storytellers' Club.

So, so sad to hear about wonderful Café Cairo. Well done for carrying on and finding somewhere new. I shall have to treasure the few memories; it's becoming a theme lately...Really sorry I didn't make it tonight, that said. Feeling rather out of sorts tonight, I'm afraid. Was thinking of you though and wishing you well in your new home. I hope Storytellers' settles somewhere deservingly fabulous.

Thank you for a wonderful show last night! The tent is really magical; it's like 1001 Nights. Or something. Lovely and cosy and perfect for curling up in and listening to a good story. Looking forward to Scarytellers' Club at Hallowe'en, at which there should at least be an Igg as well as just little me.
Hi there S.C. I have just returned from touring around Eire with my show and am focussing now on this child friendly site. It would be grand to have feedback on the tracks that are there and the ideas presented on the page? Plus if you can bulletin people about the site that would help enormously.
Be great to hear from you Love love love love Perciphone Petticoat
