About me:
Classically educated violinist with a soul full of rock, jazz and funk. I believe that music is the form of the silence in the time dimension.I've learned to "play the fiddle" in my loved Bulgaria first, later at the Mozarteum University in Austria with Maestro Ruggiero Ricci.
My "freestyle" teachers are Hendrix, Grappelli, Satriani, Darol Anger (thanks Darol for "chops and grooves" and "blues on the fiddle"!!!), Didier Lockwood, Bach and bulgarian folk.
I've worked with some interesting people like Manuel Carrasco, Jimmy Roggers, Joanjo Bosk, playing solos for their CD's. And then some movie soundtracks for movies like "The Summit of the Shamans" and "Tickets, please" I'm leader of the seconds violins in the Emporda Chamber Orchestra and Philharmonic Orchestra of Catalonia. I also teach young people to improvise on the fiddle, viola and cello.
