Our downloads are priced according to resolution. From our minimum “CD quality” 128K ($.99 or less) to the highest audiophile/DJ preference at 320K ($2.99 or less), song prices vary accordingly. Some songs, because of length (Club etc.) and particular restoration needs (tracks for “The Collector”) cannot be made available at lower resolutions due to loss of sound quality. ALL SONGS CAN BE AVAILABLE at the HIGHER RESOLUTIONS.

“Throughout the years I’ve been approached by many who share their fond memories and the special moments they revisit each time they hear the original Set It Off. The block parties, park jams, unforgettable nights out with the crew or nights in (believe it or not) with someone close; the joy in their conversation is real, sometimes moving. It’s why I continue to create and why I’m open to those who want to expand on that joy, reaching new audiences. The Remixers on this project certainly intended to do so.”
Strafe’s original “Set It Off”, released over twenty years ago, is unique in that it is one of very few, if not the only tune to crossover to as many markets as it has, maintain its mystique and still generate excitement on dance floors today.
Why I Still DJ
I spin, because I’m privileged to listen as a profession. In my listening, I come across so many “gems’” worth sharing that I can do nothing but just that…share them. I like to be there when YOU hear them.
Music is a very settling medium. The right selections can be a mental spa unto itself. It’s how I use music. It’s why I compose. The challenge of funneling, in effective doses, just the right amount of groove, melody and purpose, in a way you’ll want to revisit again and again…is my therapy. That’s what writing songs are about to me.
I’m only trying to get better, so I can give better…all the time.
