I tell you now. No matter how well you think that you know me, I always do something that you really do not expect. For me, it is not unusual, but to even my best friends, I shock. Seriously, no one really knows me. If tell you everything personal when I first meet you, then you will be shocked by the meaningless things I tell you later. If I start by telling you the meaningless stuff, then you shall be shocked by the personal stuff.
When people update their profile, does anyone ever take the time to read stuff? I seriously doubt it. This, in itself, is a huge middle finger to you all who do not read this.
Anyone who is prying for deeper information, all you will have to do is to read this and message me- comments are too public. I am quite shy and a fan of messages.

AFI (though you'd have never have guessed! lol!), also absolutely in love with HIM- they rule! Eighteen Visions are awesome too- their music makes me smile...and Alkaline Trio just...well... they are amazing! AFI,18V, Alkaline Trio and HIM will take over the world...! (Well, they would have done, had 18V decided not to split!) Well, now that 18V and The*Ga*Ga's are history, looks like Slaves To Gravity and any side- project will have to take their places! Mainly punk, Goth, metal, 80s stuff, power ballads, underground stuff- I like to discover new bands that are pretty unheard of, and the odd bit of irritating pop- Aqua! If you are desperate to know what other music I like, ask me, - if I am not advertising them, mentioned them here, or they are not in my friends list, it doesn't necessarily mean I don't listen to them! The Cure, Morrissey, The Smiths, Depeche Mode and loads of other stuff, including some weird-ass things like Crash Test Dummies, Rascal Flatts and Tim Mc Graw, as well as the Desert Rose Band and some other stuff(Not many people know that I actually like Simon and Garfunkel)! :D

Some small unsigned bands that I care a lot about include A Day Called Desire, Shotgun Memories, Codeca, Friday Night Kills, Locksley and The RJA. Please listen to their stuff- PAY FOR IT!!!- and enjoy it. I feel a moral obligation here to say The Wonderfuls kick-ass, as *aparantly* I am related to the guitarrist/singer Tom Sears. Hehehe, yes, he is my cousin, so GO CHECK THEM OUT!!!

The Outsider, by Albert Camus- always going to be my favourite though! "Catch-22" - very good- highly recommend it! Also *sod the movie* READ The Green Mile by Stephen King. Please. Before your life is over, read the books I have written above- you life will not be complete if you do not read them!
I am ashamed, partly, to say that lately I have been guilty of being engrossed in the Twilight series of books by Stephanie Meyers. I would like to take this opportunity to point out that The story line is actually quite agreeable, and the style of writing is VERY easy to read!

Ok, so this re-vamp is very much over-due I think. Anything that I leave out of the profile which you wish to know, send me a message, and we can talk about it.
I am currently at uni working on a BA in Theology & Religious Studies, and plan on going on to do a Masters in Bioethics, and then a PGCE in secondary. Eventually, I plan on doing a PhD, and then as far as education goes, my life will seem complete. As for other aspects... well, let's wait and see.
I am very much a stereotypical geek, in the sense that I spend my free time doing pretty much what I do when I am studying. I love reading, and I pity anyone who tries to separate me from a copy of The Outsider (it is impossible to read that book too many times). Music is another love of mine- listening to it, as all attempts made by me of making music result in the sound of a heard of distraught elephants.
I am the one who will start talking for no reason at all, about anything and everything. I am the one to shout weird quotes at the top of my lungs when things go wrong. I am the one to warn you of the "Madonna speech", so that you giggle like mad when you realize what it is. I am the one who can recite the whole of Nightmare Before Christmas, A Clockwork Orange, Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs. I am the one who will recite Shakespeare's plays, especially the soliloquies by Iago. I am the call in the call "who's there?", I am the wind blowing in your hair. I am the scrape. I am the sXe person at parties- well, someone has to help pick you up, mop the floor and move the broken glass! I am the one who no one notices until too late, when time has moved on, and people have changed around. I am the one whose best is never good enough.

Ever felt it necessary to be true to yourself? Thought so. Well, to be honest, there is a lot to learn, which you don't know you are learning- you won't ever know it 'till it has happened already. For example, you can rant about being patriotic, but hey, what good is it going to do!? Some things will happen, like it or not. Yes, ok, I do love England, and cannot imagine not living in London, but hey, issues affecting the country I cannot take control of and change. Just something which happens. What happens when you suddenly realize that the land doesn't matter?! Land- physical, temporary. Who cares about it?! No one owns it, we just rent it whilst we are here from a higher power. What happens when you wake up one day to discover that nothing matters on this earth, and that you wish that you lived in a Theocracy?! I really don't care what you think, because to be honest, I have thought about what you might think, and it doesn't bother me. I love God, and I am not going to hide that fact. Jesus Christ is an amazing Being (yes, I used present tense for a reason), and without Him, then there would be no hope for anyone. Next time you are thinking of spouting off about some material object or place, just think about all that is better than that.
