About me:
I am Colorado's first small batch whiskey. I am made with 100% malted barley, and aged no less than 2 years in charred new American white oak barrels. What makes me different? Well Bourbon is made of at least 51% corn, I am all malted barley. Scotch is all barley but it is aged in used barrels, and it is made in Scotland. I am the best of both worlds. I have the big vanilla and carmel flavors of a bourbon, from the new American white oak, and the smooth body and complexity of a scotch, from the 100% malted barley. My distiller distills me two times through a custom made still to ensure purity and smoothness. Some whiskeys talk about being distilled more times, but they are using a different kind of still. My still is a combination of a scotch still and a bourbon still, (technically it is a pot column), it is designed to eliminate all impurities without taking away any of the flavor. Now you might not have heard of me yet, that is because my first barrel comes to fruition an April 9 2006. So if you do the math you will find that my very first batch was run on April 9 2004. I am a quality, hand crafted, Colorado sipping whiskey, you might run in to me in one of the finer establishments around town after March. Cheers!
