Strange Celebrity Entertainment was founded in 2008, upholding the belief that ‘celebrity', in and of itself, is strange. But, the word ‘strange can also be defined as “not previously known, seen, heard, or experienced”, and THAT is the music and artistry we represent.

Here at Strange Celebrity we are dedicated to representing and creating opportunities for performing artists by working with enthusiastic singers, bands, and musicians, to help develop their innate talents to the fullest extent. Just like a record company, we are selective about who we choose to align ourselves alongside. (In other words, you cant suck.) And…with that in mind, we expect both parties to recognize that the artist/manager relationship requires a lot of work. (No whining, No bitching) Well work our asses off to make sure your dreams are achieved, but well require the same dedication, respect, and work ethic in return.

Kendall Bard,
President/Manager, hails from San Diego, CA, where her work in music first began. In the fall of ’94 through the summer of ’96, she met three singer/songwriters by the names of Steve Poltz, Jewel Kilcher, and Jason Mraz. Latched on for dear life, she began working feverishly for free (bus rides and concert tickets), selling and designing t-shirts for Steve and shooting video for all three. In time she began working for Steve Poltz’s Management Company, and later became even better friends with Jewel, working on her video production gigs. Arriving in Nashville with Jewel to record her fourth album, Kendall fell in love with the bright lights and big city. After ten years as her colleague, Kendall decided to stay in Nashville and grow some roots when Jewel returned to California. Landing a job at High Five Entertainment, she has handled ‘rights and clearances’, worked production on shows like “The Grand Ole’ Opry”, and Associate Produced the Capitol Records (Nashville) Pub Crawl. Other notable events and productions she has worked include Lilith Fair, Garrison Keillor’s “A Prairie Home Companion 4th Of July TV Special (with Meryl Streep), CMT’s “Invitation Only” starring Keith Urban and Alan Jackson, and GAC’s Fort Campbell special with Montgomery Gentry.

Michelle Fiddler,
a native of Springsteen Country, resides in New Jersey (although spends as much time in Nashville as possible) and is the Vice President of Management - Day To Day. With extensive strategic marketing and management experience gained from executive-level positions at entertainment and lifestyle companies, she brings a brand management, career-building perspective to her artists. Michelle began her career in the world of book publishing at Harper Collins, and moved seamlessly to marketing roles in music, independent film and home entertainment, and lifestyle/luxury brands at companies including Warner Music, SonyBMG, Live Nation and SpaFinder. She built the country music presence for AOL Music and was integral to the launch of a new crop of stars including Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Sugarland, Keith Anderson and The Lost Trailers. She also worked with superstars including Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn, Toby Keith, Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Alan Jackson and Rascal Flatts, securing exclusive content and marketing alliances that far surpassed her competitors. She is a member of the CMA, the ACM, NARAS, and the Film Society of Lincoln Center. Michelle is a proud alumna of Leadership Music.

Karen Tice,
Director of E.I. (Everything Important) calls Nashville her home, but growing up in a military family she lived in neighborhoods all across the United States. Her first experiences in the music industry came in the form of working concerts while a student at Virginia Tech, where she worked setup and security for acts like Bob Dylan, Trey Anastasio, Tiffany, and other bands. Her final motivating factor in her decision to move to Nashville was while working the 2001 Presidential Inauguration and experiencing the behind the scenes. In May of 2002 Karen arrived in Nashville and was able to land a job at the Grand Ole Opry her very first day. She then found herself helping with fanclubs in the Country and Christian music genres and even sold merch on tour for Dierks Bently. She has done a wide variety of jobs in the industry, everything from working CMA MusicFest, to the red carpet and press room for the Country Music Awards and CMT Flameworthy Awards, to interning at Universal South, and even fixing headphones for Ultrasone. In addition to working behind the scenes, Karen has also been called numerous times to appear on-camera. She has shot a pilot TV show in NYC, has appeared in multiple Country music videos, including Brooks & Dunn "The House We Built", Eric Church "How ‘Bout You", and Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband "Banjo Boy" and just recently appeared as an extra in the Hannah Montana movie. Also, she spent time traveling to high schools as a motivational speaker, another notable fact that sets Karen apart from other music industry colleagues. Her journey definitely has been strange but it has made her well rounded. Amazingly, while doing all of that she was able to graduate from Belmont University with a degree in Music Business in 2004 and she received her MBA from Tennessee Technological University in 2008. Another little unknown fact about Karen is she is a ping pong champion, and she plans on bringing it back...
