Even before forming the Trashcan Darlings in 1995, Strange? Gentle & Chris Damien Doll had written several of the most beautiful singer/songwriter tunes the world had never heard.
Their love for bands such as the Rolling Stones, Dogs D'Amour and epseically Nikki Sudden and Dave Kusworth's Jacobites inspired this.
There was never space in the Trashcan Darlings for this type of music, so songs and half finished ideas just kept piling up.
This year they both had the time and energy to finish up some of those songs, assemble a band and start playing a few gigs
So the thought was to share these tracks here on myspace!
These are rough demos recorded with only Strange? and Chris and they sing lead vocals on the songs they write
