Now known as Strangefates: Cult Ambient Rock Band led by Guitarist Didier Soyuz with the infamous silent vocalist Johnny Nightingale. The band has now become a popular music act in the virtual land Secondlife.
Johnny went on to patent many inventions including a sponge tuning fork and the extra large pint glass. He perfected his silent singing to the extent where he learnt how to stop breathing for the entire length of the live set. He left the band temporarily to tour Australian bars.
And.D is Strangefates most recent real life drummer taking over from the Robot Alien in the late nineties after having his hand successfully sown back .. a freak accident in a nightclub in Chester. Unfortunately he had his hand sown on the wrong way round, but this led to some useful time signatures being played that otherwise could only be played with a drum strapped to his head.
And.D has spent much time developing his Drumkit Wonderland Studios in Hawarden, North Wales, in particular by investing in a sound proof fridge.
His drumkit has been converted to electronic Roland V Drums. They look fantastic, but boy if you look inside them, they're nothing more than a cheap sensor from Tandy glued onto a bit of plastic.
Didier discovered the revolutionary HI-LO-HI-FI production technique. This together with collaborations with The ex Carpet Salesman Ryan Beno helped Didier establish a reputation for innovative sound production.
Johnny Ray (aka Bob) is responsible for the majority of Molecules/Strangefates Album Covers as well as the grinding bass lines using his industrial standard Gemini Bass Guitar which was made out of a single tree with the branches and leaves left on.
The band was totally relaunched in the virtual world: Secondlife by Didier in December 2006 where he met the beautiful Virtual Band members Salamander, Harrie, Cat, and Bittersweet. The rest is history...
DIDIER goes solo...
Also in December 2006 Didier, lead guitarist of StrangeFates, started performing solo acoustic shows in the virtual world of Secondlife. With his unique stlye, adaptations of favourite Strangefates songs along with many new compositions, he very quickly established himself as one of the premier live guitarists on the grid and to this day he continues to perform regularly at many well known venues and prestigious in world events!
Over the summer of 2009 Didier has plans to record his first full lenght solo album and in advance of this has produced his first machinima for his classic song 'In Your Hands', featuring footage from live shows at The Jester Inn and shot completely around his and Harries home sim of Pixel Hill!
