    Alison Ables, Ben Simpson and Andrew Grosse of Portland-based Strange Holiday share a history of playing predominantly instrumental music. While their past endeavors focused mainly on texture and space, the three realized upon meeting each other a common interest in combing these elements with traditional pop song craft. Their debut EP "Archipelago" highlights this marriage of layered sonics and psychedelic pop from the 50s & 60s. They plan on releasing a full length LP in the spring of 2012.
