The inevitable union of DJ No Idea (aka. chub chub) & DJ Fuck It Up (aka chi chi, vinyl vixen) came to be in mid-2001. A mutal adoration of the strange, the exotic and kitsch - & an unhealthy proclivity for shameless nostalgia excursions - solidified a friendship, which soon led to regular DJ battles across the airwaves of Adelaide, Australia. Many pseudonyms, show changes, broken styluses, smashed diaphragms, short circuits, rejected record deals and such, rapidly secured our dueling DJs a reputation for tripped out, screwed up total noise anarchy...with the faint tinkering of a Bacharach tune buried SOMEWHERE in the mix...
'Strange Rampage' is the current incarnation of this tempestuous relationship...and its vibrations can be heard every Friday morning 9-11 am on Adelaide's premier community station Three D Radio, 93.7 FM.
Flex it baby, FLEX IT!!

Cool tunes. Thankyou for being a friend of New Translation. We invite you to taste a section of our upcoming album with a track named 'Found'. On this track we have liberal sprinklings of Geoff Bradley and Pete Raidel (Goose) on trumpet and sax respectively, the dish finished with Tony Minnieconn's patented vocal awesomesauce.
Please let us know what you think?
The track will be up for the month of May so get your fill until our anticipated album release towards years end.
