Who I am?
Hi there! My name is Reena Sommer - actually, if you want to be technical, it's Dr. Reena Sommer (of the Ph.D. variety). My friends call me Reena and my clients call me Dr. Reena. To be honest, I am just pleased that people call me - period...
I am married and have three wonderful and very smart children. Our family moved from Winnipeg Canada to Texas in July 2005. That was quite an adjustment for all of us. But we're now settled in and life is treating us pretty well. No complaints. Apart from building my business, I enjoy exercising at Curves, walking my dog Simba, trying to make friends with my cat, Omar and sharing a glass of wine over dinner with my husband, Michael.
What I Do?
I am a divorce and custody trial consultant. I work with family law and criminal attorneys on managing very difficult cases that develop during the divorcing process. I handle the worst cases you will ever come across.
I have clients all over the US, Canada, Great Britain and even in Poland and Israel. Where you live is not an obstacle for my being involved in your case. Email, fax, phone and video conferencing make that all possible.
The typical approaches of negotiation and mediation do not work with nasty divorce and custody cases. To be successful, an "out of the box" thinking approach is needed - an approach that involves very creative strategic planning. That is what I specialize in and that is why my clients are successful in achieving their objectives.
Many of the cases I work on involve false allegations of sexual abuse, deliberate attempts to destroy a once loving relationship between a parent and child and involvement of naive and undertrained therapists who support a manipulative parent's wishes. I have been successful in uncovering evidence that exposes the injustices in these cases and helping parents and children maintain the relationships they are entitled to.
How I Do It?
This is too good! - I've recently developed a new and unique approach to gathering evidence in contested divorce and custody cases. The approach is called "Strategic Emails" and it involves sending carefully drafted emails in a very specific manner. Depending on the circumstance, a strategic email can elicit information that would otherwise be unobtainable. I've had varing degrees of success with this approach. For more information CLICK HERE.
