I am 50 years old (I would have been 52, but I was sick for two years!). Love the Blues!.......and Rock, Heavy Metal, Play Jazz, Soul, Hair Bands, Rockabilly, Classics, Punk, Polkas, Funk, Ska, Oldies and more...plus.....ALL Guitar Slingers (male and female)!
I play Stratocasters and Telecasters. I love Bass (uprights/fiddles) and vintage music stuff. I work at a music conservatory at a college. My degree is in Audio Production Technology and I finish another in Management Science in a few weeks and will work on my masters in Education around January 2010. I played guitar in the 70's and 80's, mostly rock and Blues back in PA and some here in AZ. Most recently, I performed with an international keyboardist (most awesome keyboardist, and great friend) at the International Film Festival Awards, Scottsdale, AZ. I was recently the lead guitarist for a Jazz/Blues band locally for 4 years and make guest appearances from time to time. I worked with female vocalist, Zhanae, often at gigs and in the studio. And Jesse Lee the drummer! Yikes! Most awesome drummer! I also recorded with and performed with blind artist, Sarah Outwater. I recently performed and recorded with Jon "d-fly" O., who toured and worked for D. Mustaine (Megadeath).
I love being a judge at the annual Fender Guitar festival where I assist the Dir. of Education of Fender Guitar Corp. <<..
Every day we are jumping from one task to another – looking at the watch as a guide. No wonder heart attack is one of the main causes to death. We forget to pause, to look around and to enjoy friendship and family. The world is beautiful – you only have to allow yourself to see it - to experience it.
