LAST GANG IN TOWN presents…
NEW TOWN KINGS - Back by popular demand this 9 piece bring their infectious and energetic brand of 2Tone, ska, reggae and dub back for a triumphant return to the Man on the Moon. Since releasing their debut album “Sound Of The New Town” on Do The Dog records the band have had gig and festival crowds across the UK begging for more. With a new studio recording in the pipeline, the future promises to be bright for the New Town Kings. http://www.myspace.com/newtownkings
RESOLUTION 242 - Their debut CD out on Do the Dog Records has had some great reviews and secured them airplay on Radio One’s “The Lock Up”. Resolution 242 have shared the stage with the likes of Inner Terrestrials and King Blues and played the Rebellion Festival in 2009. They sound great and they’ve got plenty say. They don’t claim to have the answers, but aim to raise awareness about important issues that they think need attention and debate, in the only medium they can… music…so get involved and enjoy! http://www.myspace.com/resolution242
CAPTAIN BLACK NO STARS - This Norfolk reggae collective have come a long way in short time, gaining fans across the region with their unique sound inspired by both the Trojan / 2Tone sounds and UK Punk rock. They bring the early Clash forays into Jamaican music to mind but with a contemporary slant. They kick off proceedings as the first of 3 Do The Dog bands that will have you skanking all night!http://www.myspace.com/captainblacknostars

This month for your delectation we have the long waited return of the fabulous Pink n Ruby with support from The Alice Band and The Cultivators, with visuals from Crazy Eddie..and as always DJ Nova7 filling in the bits between the bits...
Pink n Ruby's music is intimate and acoustic, with two guitars and two voices weaving together to create a dreamlike ethereal sound sending you deep into the world of the faeries..They have drawn inspiration from the beauty of Nature, the singing of their inner angels and sometimes from their dark sense of humour. The result is music with a unique sound and a haunting beauty.

The Aliceband: AlicebanD, like any decent original band are not easy to describe. Led by the multi-talented Alice Walker, their music is an upbeat folk/pop hybrid with intelligent, thought provoking lyrics.
Having won the Haverill Rock Contest earlier this year, AlicebanD are fast becoming one of the area's prominent live acts..

THE GRIT - They're back! The UK's best Punk Rock'n'Roll band storm back into Cambridge yet again by popular demand. Now a 5 piece with a fatter sound and a cracking new CD release on the infamous People Like You label, The Grit will leave you begging for more. Their unique sound splices punk, psychobilly, rockabilly, ska and a whole lot of spirit. You'd be a fool to miss their live show, they've blasted audiences at all the major festivals at home and across Europe and this is your chance to catch them before they head over to Russia, Japan and the USA, so don't miss it!

ICH - Arguably the finest punk band to come out of East Anglia, the last 5 years have seen this band become a local phenomenon and they've just played at the prestigious Rebellion punk festival. Mere words can't describe their live performances, you have to see the band for yourself! ICH have been known to blow ageing punk bands off the stage and even incited stage diving at their unplugged gigs. With sharply observed lyrics and a barrage of guitars, ICH's punk anthems will have you punching the air and shouting along 'til the cider runs out.
