Strawberry Fields Presents is run by music loving people, for music loving
people!
The idea came about when trying to decide what to do, or where to go, for a
friends 30th birthday. We were totally fed up with the usual 'run of the
mill' night out in Bournemouth or Southampton with the same old djs playing
the same old tunes, one pub or club just blends into another, each offering
nothing different from the last....
So we decided to arrange our own event, with two very simple criteria, good
music and good people...! Knowing a number of local bands and DJs it also
gave an excellent opportunity to promote some quality local acts... It
proved to be a huge success, which re-installed our faith in the club/pub
goers in and around the local area, and just went to prove you can be
outside of London, Leeds, Manchester etc and listen to an eclectic mix of excellent up and coming acts..!
After the huge success of the first we decided to run another one the
following year, exactly the same format with one minor difference ... more
people..! Once again, tickets completely sold out and the Strawberry Fields
Presents team were born ...!
Our policy remains exactly the same today ... Quality music played to a fun
loving, 'up for it' crowd!
Be it a chilled out acoustic evening, a DJ pumping out old school hip hop,
or a dirty rock 'n roll night... We guarantee you will not be
disappointed..!
