Why vegan?I have been vegan since 2001, vegetarian before that starting in 1995. I am against the poor treatment of animals in factory farming conditions. I did not want to personally contribute financially to the industry by buying any sort of animal products and ultimately that came down to my body products as well. On top of the animal cruelty factory farming and the meat and dairy industry have a hugely negative impact on the environment.
Our fuzzy friends Oscar, Corgan, and Shadow.
This video shows you a few furry members of the Strawberry Hedgehog team. Oscar (awwscar) the kitten being her cute self.. I can't believe she is getting so big! Begging for her bottle and then being bottle fed. Her play fighting with Corgan and various toys. Second part of video is our former dog Shadow. He died in early 2005 of Renal failure. He was the sweetest doggy ever. Shadow came from Rescue a Golden of Arizona (RAGS). Great organization to get a wonderful dog. We rescued Marley from rags Nov. '05 and he died from cancer in March 2008. We have now adopted Kaylee, a ~2year old golden-chow from RAGS and couldn't be happier. We love our furry babies!
Who I'd like to meet: Any and all open minded folks or people that care about supporting local businesses, healthy body products, animal rights, sustainable living and trying to do your part to make the world a better place, a little at a time.

T! Yea, he was really cool:) I wish I could have taken him with me on the bike. Hey, how are things going at home? How was the farmer's market? How is life in general! It's been ages...and I miss you and think of you often! Can't wait to see you and Steph when I get home. Only a few more weeks now, crazy, huh?
Hmmmm, I'm not sure. If you have an SRC membership (which you get automatically if you're enrolled) then you can just come along.....but otherwise, I dont know. If that doesnt work, you should come to the studio I am dancing at too - they have FREE classes on a Saturday! :)
T! I met your fellow geology friend yesterday! Her name was Jill. She's also in the masters program and does triathalons. What a small world:) Hope you're well, and getting some relaxation time!!
