but hope makes diversion.
how shall i share the cud with anyone?
how dare i pervert you
to a darkness
from where i feel you pull
and gaze at you like a distant moon?
when we became friends
we became a lie which grew real.
and now i've come to spain...
but i can't remember why.
i thought the bulls would share my plight,
unlike those pinatas,
when you slit their throats,
the floor and sword are covered in candy.
feathers wisping along the breeze
are dry heaves in the furnace for me.
the ring-doors fly open,
a fissure exists,
the cloth i bore you was red and thread-bare...
the sun shines in our eyes
and i feel i'm still a child running away.
so now i'll go somewhere fresh,
to pass time,
i would love to go to africa,
to beat a drum or drink tea
and find a little shelter.
i hope tonight i get to scare the wolves
and unwind the flies from the spiderwebs
as i chant to the bulls,
i am going to set them free
and sacrifice my guitar to the fire.

Salut à vous ! J'sui vraiment fou de votre son je suis envouté ! je vous avais vu au divan du monde l'année dernière à Paris et j'avais vu Barry auparavant à la péniche en première partie de Florent. Cette technique de guitare, cette voix ! A quand un retour en France ? Et un album eventuellement ?? Merci pour ce que vous faites passer dans votre musique à bientot j'espère, pourquoi pas sur une scène !
