At age 15, Nyah immigrated from his home in Dominica to Guadaloupe. There he joined a band playing jazz and rock. Shortly afterwards he became heavily influenced by the reggae music of Bunny Wailer, Peter Tosh and Bob Marley. Nyah lived in St. Thomas a number of years playing in Reggae bands heard frequently at resorts and festivals opening for Sugar Minot. In 1997, Nyah moved to Maine and created Stream. Originally playing bass, he is now lead guitarist and vocalist. He is also the primary songwriter for Stream. Since Stream's creation they have played their energetic reggae - dancehall music at many local nightclubs, festivals and colleges. They were invited to play at Merrill Auditorium's "Night of Relief" to raise money for victims of 9/11. The band has also opened for Third World and Burning Spear on their tours. Many thanks to the Maine audience for supporting the band.

Jamal Pena, born and raised in Harlem NY of Afro-cuban decent. Inspired, taught by and influenced at NYC famous jazz mobile. Later Attented the Institute of New Cinema Artist (I.N.C.A) ''Ozzy, Davis.'' Upon graduating from I.N.C.A Jamal toured the country with Polydor recording artist Roy Ayers and Ubiquity for a number of years. In 1996 Jamal moved to Maine for the quiet life, meeting Nyah upon his arrival becoming one of the original members of Stream. Jamal went on to play with such bands as Matrix, Spunck funk, IRS, and The Bernard Tshimangley African Dance Band, all the while keeping his musical relationship with NYah. He was working on a few tracks for Stream's second upcoming CD even before reinstated into the band. Being reunited with his first connection with Reggae and Dancehall bring memories from back in the Cherry St. days. THE FIRST SHALL BE THE LAST AND THE LAST SHALL BE THE FIRST. ALL PRAISES DUE TO JAH. . .

Greetings to all big up all Caribbean massive and world viewers! Rasta live so love one another one love. . . .

Rick Dufour, a Portland, Maine native was a founding member and bass player for the Rockin' Vibration Reggae Band for over 15 years until 2001 when the band retired (see http://home.maine.rr.com/rvreggae). Rick and Nyah met when Nyah first came to Portland. They recently re-met in Windham. Nyah asked Rick to fill in for a couple of gigs in January 2005 and shortly after Rick joined the band. Respect to all Reggae musicians and lovers of Reggae music. .......One LOVE
