The Street Corner Champs are the perfect blend of eclectic influences ranging from the Beatles, to My Morning Jacket, and everything in between. With a live show fueled by raw emotion and the symphatic sounds of rock and roll, SCC truly leaves a crowd wanting more. After many years of playing music together growing up, Richard "Rico" Whitfield and Jeremy "J" Odom decided to start the Street Corner Champs in the summer of 07’. In the years to come, SCC would evolve into the band it is today. The final formula for their musical chemistry was discovered in the summer of 08’ when fellow childhood friends, Joe "Eenie" Ennis and Joe Schneider we’re introduced to Rico and J. An instant friendship was formed and music undoubtedly followed. Now, fresh off the release of their first official self titled EP in February 09’, the Street Corner Champs are ready to settle out and show the world what they do..
