Street Crime is in-your-face punk rock, spawned from the automotive wastelands that surround Detroit, Michigan. Taking the idea that certain forms of survival are born of necessity, Street Crime formed out of a need to bring fury back to rock and roll. Exploding like a Molotov cocktail onto the motor city’s underground scene- this band has burned hot and fast from the word go.
With song and lyrical content dealing with a barrage of death, violence and broken homes- Street Crime take what they do very seriously-and VERY personally. With big rock intros and blistering, percussive assaults, this band takes each song like a rollercoaster ride- more comparable to a drive-by shooting, than an amusement park.
Street Crime reaches down and lashes out with a voice that is fiercely relevant. Having recently relocated to New Jersey, they're fighting hard to help punk rock put honesty back into the anger and sincerity back into the sweat. Using the landscape of their songs to tell stories and inject personal experiences of war, love, loss- anger, violence and grief- Street Crime is a band that holds onto dreams with teeth bared, fists clenched and bloody knuckles.

We hope people identify with the messages, and, through them find some sense of release. We are a working class band and we struggle like everyone else- we all work and pay bills- but we focus on our music and push that to the forefront of our lives. There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
