Street Folk Records is the brain child of Rese Jhordan. I am interested in putting out quality original music and taking it on the road. I want to link up with artist who have work ethic and determination.
My vision is a round table of artist who can share a common drummer and bass player or who has original artistic hip-hop. We will get together map out a live show and go and do shows in and around Ohio.
The Money for the show would be split between the artists who play that show. The drummer and bass player would be paid every time except for strictly acoustic shows. Now, the money would be made throught the merchandising. I have connections that would give us access to high quality t shirts and such for a low price. Also I have a recording studio where we can record good quality disc and reproduce them for a low price.
So basically Street Folk Records is here to lay down the road all you have to do is drive. You will get out of it what you put into it. All of your talents will be appreciated here and used for the team. The music business is hard enough alone so here is an opportunity to get at it as a collective.
