Streets of Fire is a relatively young band, comprised of veterans of the New Jersey rock scene. Lead vocalist/guitarist Rocky Catanese, and lead guitarist Michael Drew have had a writing partnership since they were barely in high school, and after spending years in various bands together, took the songs they had left and created what would become 2008’s The Ghost EP. Soon recruiting drummer/producer S.J. DeMaio, and bassist Chris Scacco, the duo continued writing their best music to date, and began to play shows around their home state refining their sound. Pulling influences from 70’s rock n’ roll, new wave, punk, 90’s alternative and indie rock, and even country, Streets of Fire is a passionate sonic party, full of hooky melodies, sweeping guitar lines, and a rock solid rhythm section that will get you on your feet and rock you all night. With their newest release hitting the shelves on November 3rd, Proposal shows the bands immense growth within a short period of time and the culmination of those aforementioned influences into a glimpse of the bright future that is ahead of them. Be prepared, because within a first listen of Proposal, you may have found your new favorite band.
“If you are a fan of catchy, well crafted, indie-pop music reminiscent of Counting Crows and the Gin Blossoms while borrowing punk and pop-punk influences, this EP is a must have for your collection.” - Joe Lemble (Crew for Lifehouse, Sigur Ros/Silent Movie Records on the band’s Ghost EP)

Hey there, Here's one from left field... Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat? A while back I came across some very disturbing information, which inspired me to make this video: Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4 Both artistic (ensure you've good enough sound to enjoy the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice. Though the source materials are somewhat aged, the fundamentals remain relevant today. I encourage all to visit the YouTube web page above to learn more (Show your support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly re-post and circulate as widely as possible. Help to raise awareness. Say have you checked out my web site (www.faberoptime.com) recently? Take care and keep in touch. Best, Faber. "Just a guy trying to make the world a better place."
