Streets of May is a metal band formed in 2006 and founded by members of the band Ramini. The group is currently based in Cebu, Philippines with only two of the original members. The current line up is Jason, John, Cabu on Bas and Jade. They have issued popular singles such as "Welcome to The Sun", "Blind Disease" and recently released "My Salvation".
The band has shared the stage with many notable acts such as Slapshock in SM Dasmariñas and Cardona Rizal, Parokya ni Edgar at Mayric's, Bamboo at SM City Cebu, COG and Tower of Doom bands at Cuerdas Bar, Singapore's hardcode band Sideline at Club Nuvo, Manila's gothic dark metal band Oremuz at Zzubo Rock Bar, Chicosci at Kukuk's Nest, PG-18, Powerspoonz and Cuarenta at Club Vibe.
Streets of May was also invited to play at the Visayan Music Festival with Urban Dub headlining the show, USC's Gadja 2008 at USC Girls' High, USC's Welcoming Party at USC-TC, and Red Horse Muziklaban at MEZ1.
They have played at Handuraw Restobar, Boss Grill, Paseo, Urban Hive and The Hideout. Other venues include The Ayala Terraces, Club Vudu, The Outpost, Body English Ultrabar, Kitchebogz, Soundlounge, Mango Square Mall, A-Mall, SM City Cebu Entertainment Center, The Mandaue Coliseum, Sugar Beach in Bantayan Island, many local venues in and around the province and the band created a stir when they held a guerrilla performance at Gaisano Fiesta Mall.
Streets of May also performed at Bistro San Miguel in New Jersey and at Washington Park in New York with a crowd of thousands during the Filipino Independence Day Parade.
