DC101 Chili Cook Off - Last Band Standing Just got called with some exciting news the other night. We've been selected for this year's Last Band Standing Competition. P-P-P-lease come out and support us for this. If we win, we'll move onto the final round and have a shot at opening up for Offspring, Third Eye Blind, and lots of others at the cook off! Round 1 takes place on Thursday April 9th @ Jammin Java. This event is ALL AGES. You can get tickets at JamminJava.com . We'll have tickets for our 4/24 show at Jammin Java there too!
Hotspur is having a surprise "Undressed" show in Alexandria this Sunday at 8pm. NEXT EVENT AT THE SKATE PARK:: LifeFest on June 29th Skaters that went to the first Generation Kramer skatepark probably remember this event. For you newbies (myself included) its a fun filled day full of skating, swimming, sweat, blood, music and car shows. : )

PS, I posted a new blog on the site this week about how you can stay informed on what the skate park is up to and other stuff like that. I'm going to stop posting comments on everyones pages about it cause I don't have enough time anymore. So anyway, please skim through that blog and get back with me.

Hey! Couple updates on the skate park for everybody (comments is the easiest way to let everyone know, so I'm copying and pasting this everywhere)
We've had a bill change for THIS COMING Thursday's show. Everyday Sunday isn't able to make it due to completely understanable reasons and A girl a gun a ghost has been added to the show. This will still be one awesome show, so please come anyway. Here are the details for the show: May 29th 6:00-9:30 pm (skating goes on till 10:30 or so) at the [recently made] nameless skate park- new name coming soon. Its at the old Kramers lake. Cost: $5 Bands: Clocktower Showdown Arts and Sciences A girl a gun a ghost John Davey

Next update: The park is, and has been , open on Saturdays for a couple weeks now from 1:00pm till about 6:30 or 7:00. Please get there before 6:30 and then we're free to skate till dark if people are still there. When its empty anytime after 6:30 I leave. Alright, I believe thats everything.
