STRENGTH OF SOLITUDE is a band that provides it's audience with a musical experience like none other. Described as incorporating an electric mix of alternative, rock, metal and indie elements, the band has created a sound that covers a unique spectrum of musical technique.
The journey to STRENGTH OF SOLITUDE'S current lineup all started with two men who wanted to devote their lives to music and the entertainment of the masses. It is the desire that drove Kevin Ervin and Jimmie Hatcher to found a band called MINDSET. After parting ways with their drummer and lead guitarist, Kevin and Jimmie enlisted the drum stylings of Jeremy Clarke and reformed the band under the name SHLF-LIFE. The trio performed as a three piece organization for a while, but soon their creative desire to do more prompted a lineup change that would push the band to grow musically. Jeremy would showcase his guitar prowess in the lead guitar position, and they hired a new drummer. Unfortunately, the new drummer did not work out, so Jeremy moved back to the skins and began playing under the name STRENGTH OF SOLITUDE as they searched for a replacement. That replacement came in the form of a veteran drummer Billy Reece. The four piece was then complete, and have been going strong ever since. The band has been generating a lot of buzz in the local scene, and have recently opened for such national acts as 10 Years, Stereoside, Copper, Bobaflex, and Pop Evil.
STRENGTH OF SOLITUDE is not the run of the mill bar band. It consists of four serious musicians, who care about the music they create, and development of themselves as musicians. Virtually drama free, all the members genuinely get along and have a rapport with each other that is rarely found in many bands. The music is a blend of all four members unique experiences and backgrounds, and cooperative effort shines through their original songs and stage show.
no problem you guys really deserve it your music is amazing i still have the shirt cd and the broken board haha im never getting rid of any of those items either,but yeah more than likely ill be there because strenght of solitude+bobaflex=gnarlyness haha it'll be the shit haha but like i said you guys rock your music is like an instant eargasm haha but anyways keep it up guys you rock and don't ever stop
