Strictly DOPE Entertainment are one of the premier urban music promoters on the east coast.
For 8 and a half years now, Strictly DOPE have been supplying quality music and entertainment for ravers in and around East Anglia.
Starting off in 2000 at Tiffany's (now Arena), RUF CUT was the original night, and still running to this day it formed the foundations for the revival of the town's once amazing array of nightclub events, Dance
Paradise being the main memory for most.
Very quickly RUF CUT managed to create a name for itself playing Garage, before moving into a blend of Garage and Drum and Bass, giving many of the areas resident Dj's their first platform to perform.
After working with Pams House, BBC Radio 1 (summer roadshow afterparty), Rumble, True Playaz, Kool FM, Pulse Rated, Extreme Promotions, Big, Platinum
Productions, and Locked on Locked in, the two Gt. Yarmouth brothers had cemented their names in the towns clubbing history books.
After Tiffany's closed, Strictly DOPE tried and tested many other clubs in the region, before taking a break after the collaboration with Tru Playaz. They returned with the aptly named, Return Of The Ruf @ Rosies.
After a succession of nights, they hooked up with Guilty By Association to bring some of the towns biggest ever Drum and Bass lineups, and once again let everyone know Strictly DOPE were back in town.
Over the next 2 years, Strictly DOPE continued pushing more local talent, once again providing a platform to perform, and took on a few
residency club nights @ the towns premier nightspot, Bar Mission, as well as hosting and judging the towns only DJ Competition.
Towards the end of 2007, Strictly DOPE teamed up with Rumble, two forces to be reckoned with, and proved that they are here to stay. With a new monthly residency @ Media in Norwich in 2008, they brought back their main club night RUF CUT allowing them to once again work close with old friends Rossi B and Luca as well as doing a massive summer roadblock with the Wideboys at the height of their commercial stardom and a Drum and Bass tear out with Taxman and undisputed number 1 mc Eksman! Finishing the year with their 8th birthday alongside the mighty Rumble on boxing day once again, they vowed to take a well earned "break".
Whilst not promoting their own nights, they have been continuously booked and have been silent partners with other major promotors helping out
where they can. This allowing Fire D to once again cross the pond and tear the roof off another Austrian club night alongside RAM Records.
Now up to date, the two brothers have been gifted an opportunity to work in the arena where it all began... Tiffanys. This fell in their laps, for a summer reunion and once again they've been bitten by the promotion bug!
