The song that are here arn't the final versions. They will be remixed and mastered before their official release on CD.
The concept of Strigoi Mort started back in 1994 when evillair started writing material that was different then most black metal bands with his good friend Christian.
Over the years of writing many songs, not finding any other musicians and being too poor to get any real equipment he put his ambitions aside while Christian moved on to other things.
Now, in 2006, evillair has finally came back (although alone) to what he had put aside and continued work on what he had started over a decade ago.
Strigoi Mort is this creation.
He wanted to create something unique and emotional. With his love for Black Metal, Classical music, Goth music and Epic soundtracks used those loves as an inspiration for his music.
The basic goal of Strigoi Mort is to combine 3 elements into one unique vision.
1. Melancholic classical melodies
2. Dark and somber black metal riffs
3. Epic sounds of choral and keyboards
The goal is to combine them into dark melancholic richly layered sounds of haunting black metal.
Strigoi Mort is currently a one man band made up of evillair.

Hadrian (Sakrefix) lending his black and death metal voice to the project.
Caroline spoken voice.
Work is currently beeing done on Strigoi Mort's first EP entitled "Mournful Serenades".
“Mournful Serenades” is a journey into the melancholic world of a tormented vampire and his undying love of his departed bride.
