More than 50 Boston-area musicians have generously offered their time and talent to make these fundraisers possible. The next benefit is Saturday, April 2, from 4-10 p.m., at La Carreta Mexican restaurant in Framingham, for 'Strike a Chord Women for Rosie's Place." "Last summer, Strike a Chord Concerts for Charity organized an amazing group of talented musicians for our first School on Wheels concert fundraiser. It was a fantastic event! The concert helped us raise funds and awareness about our nonprofit organization that provides academic stability for children impacted by homelessness. The musicians donated their time and their talents to bring the community together to help us shrink the gaps in education for children in our own backyard, living in family shelters and motels. We are very excited that “Strike a Chord for Charity” musicians will be performing at our five-year anniversary celebration this fall."
