Most of my influences come from my gaming habits, starting from the Commodore Vic-20 and Commodore 64, and then with the Sega Genesis, Gameboy, Super NES, 3DO, and such others. Artist-wise, my influences includes Falcom Sound Team JDK, Dave Brubeck, and Yasunori Shiono, just to name a few names I remember.

Jonathon Stiker: Self-taught composer currently taking Music Theory I in college.
Much of what you will here is some of my older works, but as I am learning new techniques, and buying new software, and I hope to bring you a fresh new batch sometime soon.
I compose music in various styles and genres, and usually try to mix the unexpected such as rock, jazz, and funk, with electronica sounds. Currently you could label me as a tracker. Musicians will know what trackers are. I’m moving my way towards composer and away from sequencer (though I still plan to make use of that style as well). I don’t mind composing a little background music, something just to have fun with, maybe even something for a small jazz band, but I wanna compose music for some games and computer programs. Oh yes, I wanna contribute the the gaming industry with some music for some shooters, RPGs, even fighting games. I hope one day I’ll be able to achieve that, even if it means forming an independant company to do it.
If anyone is into programming some little freeware games, let me know about it and I’ll check it out. Ask and I’ll provide the music to the best of my ability. Afterall, a good game deserves good music, so why can’t we help each other out in advertising our abilities.

Could I invite you to listen to the first track on my player, 'Joy Unto My Soul', if you haven't had a chance to yet? Would love to know what you think. Meanwhile, keep up the great work, keep in touch & keep on rockin' - hope to be able to work with you sometime! Cheers and all the best, ~Nick ;)

Oh, Jonathon Striker as in your composer name, that's cool. I'll get home ASAP and try to finish coloring, I've just been busy and a bit discouraged because I wanted to do like a desert-like backdrop for your picture.
