Strike the Colors entered indefinite hiatus as a trio that attempted to synthesize and cultivate the disparate musical influences of each member into distinct and original compositions. Our most recent recording, "Days Are Numbered", is available for free download by clicking on the blog above. Our final release as a quartet, "Progress Notes," is available for purchase at www.interpunk.com, as is our debut EP, "Vindicate."
Hey Sean! Avid soundtrack collector and guitarist of NYC's MORRICONE YOUTH Devon E. Levins is hosting 2 hours of "all-things cinematic" every Saturday at midnite (est) on East Village Radio heard via the internet at eastvillageradio.com.
Film and television soundtracks from around the globe past, present and future. Music from the Spaghetti Westerns of Sergio Leone and Corbucci, the Italian gialli of Argento and Baza, the Japanese Kaiju popularized by Godzilla and Mothra, the Edgar Wallace thrillers from Germany, Bollywood, the French New Wave, Blaxploitation, Film Noir...ok, you get the picture! But the soundtrack universe just might be vastly more diverse than you realize. Expect the usuals: Schifrin, Goldsmith, Rota, Komeda, Mancini, Umiliani, Legrand and, of course, Ennio Morricone, but don't forget that The Germs, Magma and De La Soul have all scored for film as well. If it was written for the moving image, it's fair game.
Those on the West Coast, that's Sat. nite 9 pm (pst), and those in Europe, that's Sunday morning.
AND EACH SHOW IS ARCHIVED FOR THE NEXT WEEK.

The carbon based biped known as Sean is stuck in a crevice, pronounced KRA-VASE, somewhere on the slopes of Mt. Forever. The ration pack includes fifteen "teriyaki nougat" energy bars, and a mix tape of William Carlos Williams, Kool Keith, and the amp area of guitar center on a Saturday sfternoon. Will the hover-blimps home in on the beacon? Will our hero emerge witha brace on? Will the search poodles smell the bacon? For suretain.
You are both my friendsters for life, though i do fear there is some mail missing from my zone to yours?!?! Reconfirm "new" address for the likes of me. And ask Tom how com he didn't look so hot drumming for us, rock star! :)
Well, aside from Thanksgiving, X-mas, and New Year's, my schedule is remarkably open in the coming months. At present, anyway. We should make a plan of some sort.
So wtf has been UP? We have managed to co-exist on the west coast for more than a year now without seeing each other. Who knew we'd be so talented? Hope you're doing well and that we can someday reverse the shitastic keeping in touch trend that we have established...

Still coming down for halloween weekend? Drew bayers' band is playing a block party down here that weekend, too, so we could make it a MILFORD REUNION WEEKEND! Rawk!
let me know when it would be a good time for me to come down and hang out, I just came to the realization that my brother and I have never drank together and I think we need that bonding experience. why yes, its 4 in the morning...
Danielle and I were gonna go to Rudy's last night, but my wind sacs were feeling sickish. So, instead of doing what my natural inclinations wanted me to do, I took your advice and stayed home, and went to bed early. It sucked, thanks a lot.
no, there was no line walking neccesary, she was not going to drive. i just made sure she got plenty of water, found her a safe place to sleep, and kept a bucket close. if she had the slightest incling of drivng, i'd have made sure she misplaced her keys.
