We are String Cheese, we come in a pack of two, not twelve. We hail from the Michigan mitten and pride ourselves in composing and performing feel-good celtic rock on violin and cello, both electric and acoustic. Although we are both classical music performance majors at well-known universities, we would much rather leave the Bach behind and plug into an amp. Our platform is introducing alternative styles, particularly celtic music, to high school and middle school string programs throughout Michigan and beyond, and preaching their importance in youth music education. However, while teaching is wonderfully rewarding, we're performers at heart. We're always looking for new venues and new friends so please don't hesitate to contact us!

Sotazero is a band from Barcelona, which consist of 7 musicians with different styles that all together light the flame of rumba parties, fused with funky, rock, reggae and disco music; which is all sung in catalan. The band, which was created in 2002 Now presents its first album, which is due to be released this fall, with the collaboration of: Lichis (Cabra Mecánica), Dj Panko (Ojos de Brujo), Oscar (Macaco), Dennis “huevo” (Radio Malanga), Jaleo Real, Vallsamba and Kayo Malayo.
This tour of 2007-08 they’ve already performed in more than 60 concerts around Catalunya, and they are still going strong!
Sotazero takes part of the project Tercera Via, a musician’s society in Catalunya. Tercera Via was created to cover the needs of bands, as a result of a lack of resources, support and trust. This is because the administration and all other music companies have shown in the past that they don’t look after such bands, which start their own career singing in catalan. With this company all Tercera Via..s bands are able to produce their own albums at the same time that they publish them on Internet in mp3 format.
