Band MembersScott (our man in the engine room) Nelson is also a resident of Fishers, IN. Scott was born and raised in Wisconsin and has, at various times, called Tennessee and South Carolina his home. He has been playing bass and singing professionally for over sixteen years. Scott is famous for his involuntary facial contortions documented in lesser medical journals as "bassfaceicus magnus" aka bass face. His bass mentors include Ray Brown, Charles Mingus, Victor Wooten, Oteil Burbridge, and Mike Bub. Projects he has been involved with covered musical genres spanning from blues, funk, and jazz fusion to bluegrass.

Dave (the big guy) Frye, 6' 5" 320lbs., calls Avon, Indiana home. He has been playing the 5-string banjo for 30 plus years and has been playing professionally since the age of 12. Dave has played on stage with talents such as Nashville recording artist Alison Krauss, and Nashville studio artist Andrea Zonn along with numerous others. Dave's mentors and influences include Bela Fleck, Tony Trishka, Earl Scruggs, J.D. Crowe, and John Hickman. Dave likes to play everything from traditional bluegrass to the more modern Newgrass, Jamgrass, and New Acoustical music.

Casey Keiner calls Noblesville, IN home. He has played multiple acoustic instruments for over twelve years. Casey enjoys experimenting with different themes and idioms of various acoustic genres. Casey likes to mix genres together creating his own unique style. Casey's main influences include Drew Emmit, Ronnie McCoury, Sam Bush, David "Dawg" Grisman, Frank Zappa, and Jerry Garcia.

Chris Keiner is a resident of Indianapolis, IN. Chris has played the guitar for over 15 years and has played in various bands for the past eight. Chris pursues numerous styles in his guitar playing, including traditional bluegrass, jazz, rock, blues, and old time finger-picking styles. Chris's main guitar influences include Doc Watson, Norman Blake, Tony Rice, Jerry Garcia, and Trey Anastasio. He also particularly enjoys the modal jazz of Miles Davis and Thelonious Monk.

STOP Same Sex Abuse

May 7 2009 4:39 PM

About this page:
I have been very active in Domestic Violence causes all of my adult life. I noticed a need in the world pertaining to Same Sex Domestic Violence. It happens more than people know. Unfortunately there are a number of gay people who barely consider themselves worthy or valued as a gay person much less a Domestic Violence Victim. There are also very limited resources, statistics, or information, for Same Sex Domestic Violence. Hopefully through empowerment and education we can change some of this. :D
