"Charles Linn -Creampieband, Chuck Fraher, aka Jason Ball/Charles Linn/Charlie Linn/Chucky Boy/Charles Linn Fraher and Skip Hahn aka Gaz Loren worked together in Dan Carlin's aka Dan Fulwiler's Blues band UNION BLUES/AkA "Mo Fo Band" in 1999, 30 years after hearing about each other, through Dan, while they were still high school, but never meeting for those thirty years in between. In the last year, separated by miles of desert, asphalt, and concrete and steel monoliths to human society, Skip and Chuck came up with something for pop music. "C'est Bon" started out as "Tastes Good", and made the transformation after a few helpful words from Chris Cormier at Bug Music in L.A.
Chuck Fraher is mentioned in the Motley Crue tell-all book "On The Rocks"(pg428-"The Inspirer") as being notably one of the best guitarists around Southern California in those days. He gave Mick Mars his stage name, and coined the chorus to one of the Crue's top hits... Mick and Chuck were cruisin' the streets of L.A. one day, when Chuck sang out "Girls, Girls, Girls..." Mick said, "That's great, mind if I use it?" Mick took it from there, all the way to the bank... a little help, there Mick? Another one of Chuck's best friends and collaborators, J.C. Martin knows Chuck as Jason Ball, and some of their music is featured in a project known as Black Angel, with 5+ albums of radio play, the latest titled "O' San Francisco" Check out "Route 69" the last song, that particular song: boy-meets-girl, boy falls in love, boy-gets-girl, boy-loses-girl, boy-reminisces-with-a Rockin' Tune! They're on myspace/blackangelband
Chuck sang "Tastes Good, Tastes Good.." over the telephone, and actually has yet to play any guitar on it, but there is always hope he will send some samples, recorded at his place, and they can be placed in just the right places, hmmm.? That is the way it is done sometimes long distances. Still there are a couple live tracks to show the guys cutting up at a car show, somewhere in hell it seemed at the time... but that's another story, let's just say they wanted to kill someone, after hearing our off-the-cuff rendition of "Rollin' And Tumblin'"
Skip shared some Billboard success with a band known as "SSQ", aka "Stacey Q" , with a 1 hit on the newly added "Dance" chart in 1987. He is also a founding member of Echo Junkies with Jon St. James, a CD having been released 7/7/07... but mostly, solo work found on others friends pages, if you look for it...
