The STRIP ME NAKED vision of Rock'n Roll as an artform and a lifestyle has created a musical trip which soars between happiness, melancholy and ecstasy. This sound combines honest, rootsy Rock'n Roll with catchy melodies and raw energy.
These are the basics: We are STRIP ME NAKED, founded in 2003 by the singer/songwriter Robert, the lead-guitar player Jason, the bassman Martin and the flute/percussion artist Charlie. One and a half year later Fedor appeared and completed our sound with his drumming-style.
End of 2005 we released our first 4-track Demo-CD 'It's a long way....', which was engineered and mixed in a long weekend session under the command of the Australian producer Dugald Jayes.
The following years STRIP ME NAKED performed several gigs in Berlin and Germany. Mainly small clubs, bars or nice, non-commercial working festivals, were the places we formed our tight live sound. All these positive reactions and love of so much people were given to to the band while these days... this was and still is a huge motivation to walk on!!
In 2008 our gang began the work on the first full album 'Good Morning Mr. Average' with the Scotish singer/songwriter Mark Mullholand on lead guitar and supported by diverse other musical-friends, great guys and fantastic musicians! The impulse to start this project was mainly given by the Berlin producer and Dj Sascha Winkler who offered ud the possibility to record the basic-tracks in his studio in Treptow. Main parts of the recording and mixing were done over the rest of the year again with Dugald Jayes at the Cruel Street Music studios in Berlin. The album was finally released on april including a lot of sweat and tears...

Im
März des Jahres 2009 brannte das De Prins in Essen aus. Jenes
Etablissement hatten Stefan und Michael bis dahin als eine
Verlängerung ihrer eigenen Wohnungen begriffen und fühlten sich
somit durch die notgedrungene Schließung desselben empfindlich
gestört. Das Lied "De Prins" produzierten sie, um den
Verantwortlichen Mut zur Wiedereröffnung zu machen und somit eine
Lücke im Essener Nachtleben möglichst schnell wieder zu
schließen.

Its been a while and we thought it was about time we updated you on what we've been up to. Our debut EP Little World is now available at our gigs and will soon be available from our myspace and facebook pages, you will also be able to download it from itunes, but we don't have a release date for this as yet.

We have spent the last year rehearsing with a full band and are now ready to bring it on the road. You can get a look at us when we appear on Balcony TV this week with the full line up.
