Build it big, strip it down; then build it bigger - this is how we do it at the Stripper Studio. The mysterious two-man sound machine behind the Stripper name are no strangers to the production world, have carved a reputation for constantly evolving their sound beyond the confines of their genre, and never resorting to musical clichés. Drawing on a hefty knowledge of classic German techno, Detroit electro, UK Acid, NY House and Belgian NuBeat, Stripper is as much about mining these influences as it is to current trends and state of the art studio techniques.
The Tracks -
First release is a gigantic remix for ‘Giant Pussy’, the new label from Tim Healey and Deekline,
Stripper put the studio mgaic to work on Tim Healey and Felguks massive 'Rio' Anthem, The track in question has been rocking clubs from south America to Europe. Next up is the debut EP release on new label “We come in Peace’, featuring two huge slices of techno; Shudder and Nervous.
Next on the horizon is another release for ‘Giant Pussy’
For this, Stripper showcases their love of jacking 808 grooves and buzzing electro-ghetto basslines. The track in question is Fugu, and is a due out with instrumental and a down and dirty vocal version featuring the talents of Detroit city’s Omega and Godfather.
The Studio -
Both producers are sonic perfectionists, and unashamed gear whores. The evidence is displayed in the Stripper studio, which fuses the latest in digital precision with vintage hot tubes, tape and transistors. This is a crucial part of the production process, and results in a naturally bigger sound that’s guaranteed to coax every available frequency from a sound system.
