STRONGHOLD is a gathering of SLAYER 's Thrash and MADBALL's Hard-Core.
June 2000 : First show in Le Havre
January 2001 : The first demo is called : INNER ENEMY
9 songs in which one will become STRONGHOLD's hymn : GRIND with Necro from INFECTED PUSSY like second singer.
April 2001 : First show in "la cafette" with FIST OF HONOR and KILLED IN ACTION
September 2001 : David decided to leave the band without reasons and it will be decisive for the band's future.
In fact, Ced, the band's drummer, decide to be our singer with his powerful and guttural voice and ask us to find a better drummer. That way, Mehdi, FATAL's drummer in this time, became our new drummer.
October 2001 : new line up : Ced : vocals - Tof : guitars - Barracuda : guitars - Gamycyn : bass - Méhdi : drums
The band gain more brutality and add Death and grind to their influences.

January 2003 STRONGHOLD decided to record a mini live cd : LIVE 2003.
