WELCOME TO OUR PAGE. WE ARE A MINISTRY THAT ASSISTS VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT. WE ARE SURVIVORS OURSELVES AND HAVE BEEN CHOSEN TO ADVOCATE FOR THOSE THAT GOD SENDS US TO MINISTER TO. WE ARE TRULY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED. WHEN SOMEONE IS STRUGGLING WITH THEIR EVERYDAY LIVES OF LIVING IN AN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP, IT IS NOT JUST THEIR BODY AND HEART BATTERED. IT IS THEIR SPIRIT AS WELL. WE HAVE ANSWERED THE CALL TO MINISTER HEALING TO ALL THAT IS BATTERED. EVEN IF THE ABUSE HAPPENED IN CHILDHOOD, THE WOUNDS AND SCARS MAY STILL EXIST.OR IT COULD BE HAPPENING CURRENTLY. ARE YOU BEING FORCED TO DO THINGS THAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO? ARE YOU AFRAID TO VOICE YOUR FEELINGS.? THAT IS NOT WRONG. YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO YOUR OWN OPINION AND FEELINGS. YOU ARE NOT BEING A BAD PERSON JUST BECAUSE YOU MAY DISAGREE WITH THE ONE THAT IS ABUSING YOU. WE WANT SO MUCH TO SHARE GOD'S LOVE AND HEALING TO THOSE THAT SOCIETY HAS FOUND THAT IT IS EASIER TO IGNORE. OR EVEN MORE SADLY, BLAMES THE VICTIMS FOR THEIR OWN ABUSE WE ARE NON-JUDGEMENTAL. WE KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT FEELS LIKE. THE SHAME, THE GUILT AND MOST OF ALL THE FEAR. BUT WE HAVE A REDEEMER. WE HAVE A SAVIOR THAT SUFFERED THE GREATEST ABUSE THAT MANKIND COULD INFLICT ON ANOTHER. A SAVIOR WHO WAS SINLESS. A SAVIOR WHO WAS COMPASSIONATE. A SAVIOR WHO WAS CRUCIFIED AND PAID THE PRICE OF OUR GUILT AND SHAME AND FEAR. A SAVIOR WHO PAID IT ALL. JESUS TELLS US HIMSELF: MATTHEW CHAPTER 11 VERSES 28-30 28: COME UNTO ME, ALL YE THAT LABOUR AND ARE HEAVY LADEN, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST. 29: TAKE MY YOKE UPON YOU, AND LEARN OF ME; FOR I AM MEEK AND LOWLY IN HEART: AND YE SHALL FIND REST UNTO YOUR SOULS. 30: FOR MY YOKE IS EASY, AND MY BURDEN IS LIGHT YOU ARE FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE.     I thought of all the things I wanted for Christmas this year and only one gift really stood out.  A gift that will never wear out, break down or get old but one that grows more beautiful every day and one whose worth really cannot be measured except by the heart.  This gift is one that never expires but maintains its brilliance day after day, year after year.  It has many uses from encouragement and support during the hard times and laughter and smiles during the good times; it's a gift filled with love, appreciation, and care and a gift that forever lives on in one's heart.  What is this truly special gift?  It is the gift of your friendship that means so much to me and that I am so blessed to be able to receive, one I hold close to my heart because in my life, you, my friend, play such an important part :).  Merry Christmas!

    Watching television is not what it use to be twenty years ago; in fact I told someone it is almost like watching a horror movie. Daily tragic stories plaster the screen and another person has lost their life to a senseless act. I was in a season before where I never watched television and now I have been spirit led once again in front of the screen. The first question I asked was “Father what are you trying to show me?”...Get Empowered!

    it doesn't matter who someone was in their past; what truly matters is who they are today and what they are now doing with their lives.  Too many times people only want to base a person's life on the past they once lived and too many times they only choose to remember the negative events that happened in a person's life.  But if they really took the time to see the person for who they are today, then they would realize that sometimes it's those negative events that happen in our lives that help us to change and grow more as we begin a new life and leave the old one behind.

    don't worry about the beginning or ending of your life; just live your life and have the life that you want as you make the most of it.  People say to live each day as if it was your last or ask how you want to be remembered when your life is over, but we need to be more concerned with living our life in the present, in the now, using our dreams and goals as tools to help us design and create the life that we've always wanted.  It's not rewriting the beginning for we can't go back and change the past, it's not about writing the ending for our lives are not over yet, instead it is about writing the pages in between, showing where we are now and how far we have made it as we continue on our journey of life.

    Just wanted to let all my friends know how much they mean to me and how beautiful and special you guys are.  Each of you holds a special place in my heart and I am glad that you guys are a part of my life for you all play an important role in it.  Anytime you feel the world is on your back or that people are against you or you are facing tough challenges in life, say this to yourself, it is something I tell myself when I go through hard times:

    I am determined that nothing and no one is going to bring me down in life because I know who I am, what I stand for, where I want to go in life, and everything I have to offer in this world. I believe in myself and most importantly I love the person I am :)
