Taking ownership of great songs and doing them my way instead of copying them exactly. I perform with my heart and soul for each song I cover - keeping in mind how the original artist would approve.

53 years old/divorced/raised twin girls by myself and now they are grown and on their own so I am gigin again!
HERE'S MY MUSIC INFO:
My Set List is in my pics you can see all the classic songs I perform.
I was ten years old when I saw The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show. The next day I talked my mother into buying me a guitar with S&H Greenstamps and began learning to play and sing.
In the summer of 69 a friend of mine turned me onto a new style of music becoming popular - acoustic rock. I immediately bought the 8 track of Crosby, Stills, & Nash and never looked back - learning all those really fine songs with meaningful lyrics and guitar riffs. Saved my bucs and bought a Martin D28 and a good p/a and started gigin. Performing at coffee houses and small pizza joints etc. Back in college in Pennsylvania, the acoustic scene was very big. I had the opportunity to front and/or jam with many good acts.
Performing the same songs today, people constantly come up to me and say they appreciate my music and it is good to hear those classic songs by: The Allman Bros., CSNY, Dylan, John Prine, Grateful Dead, Eagles, Bonnie Raitt, Jerry Jeff Walker, The Band, Neil Young.
I moved to Gainesville, FL from Treasure Island, FL in 82 after leaving Pennsylvania, and have performed at many venues that have come and gone. I have seen a lot of local musicians come and go and go big! - Sister Hazel, Tom Petty, Mike Campbell, Brian Epstein, Stan Lynch (all original members of The Heartbreakers), Don Felder & Bernie Leadon (original members of The Eagles), Stephen Stills, Bo Didley, and many more great bands from Gainesville,FL home of the Univ of Fla Gators!
