"All Kinds of everything" (Dana)
Snowdrops and daffodils, butterflies and bees
Sail boats and fishermen, things of the sea
Wishing wells, wedding bells, early morning dew
All kinds of everything reminds me of you
Seagulls and areoplanes, things of the sky
Winds that go howling, breezes that sigh
City sights, neon lights, grey skies or blue
All kinds of everything reminds me of you
Summer time, winter time, spring and autumn too
Monday, tuesday, everyday I think of you
Dances, romances, things of the night
Sunshine and holidays, postcards to write
Budding trees, autumn leaves, a snowflake or two
All kinds of everything reminds me of you
Summer time winter time spring and autumn too
Seasons will never change the way that I love you
Dances, romances, things of the night
Sunshine and holidays, postcards to write
Budding trees, autumn leaves, a snowflake or two
All kinds of everything reminds me of you
All kinds of everything reminds me of you
"The Hitcher"

"OBELISK"
Luke Kelly.
He was a friend of my uncles and I met him a few times, usually on christmas day, a funny man. One day I heard a lot of laughing going on in a room and went in to explore...to find Luke and 2 uncles engulfed in smoke. They tried to tell me it was a paper Christmas Cracker hat on fire in the Ashtray and the smell was from the Christmas Brussell sprouts on the boil coming from the Kitchen??? yeah, right? When I laughed at them and the lame excuse they told me I could have a smoke if I didn't tell me me Mudder, which I didn't...and have never looked back! :)
R.I.P.Luke! :)
"RAGLAN ROAD" by LUKE KELLY of the DUBLINERS.
Lyrics by the Irish poet Patrick Kavanagh,
Traditional air...
"Inne Geal an La": "Dawning of the Day"
The lyrics if you'ld like to sing along...They're almost accurate...if you have any problems though...go back and start again! haha! Enjoy"
Raglan Road
On Raglan Road on an Autumn day I saw her first and knew
that her dark hair would weave a snare that I would one day rue
I saw the danger yet I walked along the enchanted way
and I said Let grief be a fallen leaf at the dawning of the day
On Grafton Street in November we tripped lightly along the ledge
of a deep ravine where can be seen the worth of passion's pledge
the Queen of Hearts still making tarts, and I not making hay
and I loved too much and by such and by such is happiness thrown away
I gave her gifts of the mind and I gave her a secret sign
that's known to all the artists who have known true gods of sound and tone
and word and tint I never did stint, I gave her poems to say
with her own name there and her long dark hair
like clouds over fields of May
On a quiet street where old ghosts meet I see her walking now
away from me so hurriedly my reason must allow
that I have wooed not as I should, a creature made of clay
when the angel wooes the clay he'll loose his wings at the dawning of the day

How's it going? Wanted to drop you a line to see how life was treating you. I got some new songs that I've posted on my page and I'd love for you to come check them out and let me know what you think. Music is my life but even more important to me is starting new friendships or building on the friendships that I already have. To me, that's what it's all about. So feel free to leave me a comment at anytime and I will always answer back. Hope to hear from you soon!
I just got back from a family gathering! :) Sorry I was out while you were here to visit!
"Without A Voice" is (so far) my favorite of Skullys CD's and from it "It Rained that Morning" is my favorite piece. I tend to put this album on to play, with ear bud head phones, when I do my artwork. It takes me off into a wonderful place to create from.
75% is insane for a commission fee! Here the worst I have ever been asked for was 50% and I told them THAT was an insult! I flatly refuse to pay over 25% to the galleries and museums.
Im singing..."These boots were made for walking"....emmmm you know the rest of the lyrics? hehehee....sing along then. Hope all is well with you Strumster....where is my moon video? lol....no rush ...just asking.
There is a slight problem, if You have an age under 18 you can't change it to above 18...i can't even change my age at all...so i have the support to do it, but they haven't done it yet !!! I have asked them to do it for several days now...
