Way back in 1984, a school friend gave me a piece of music to listen to which unbeknown to me then, would change my life forever. This piece of music was something unique, infact, it's still unique even today, 22 years later! The track was called "Zoolookologie" and was taken from the album, "Zoolook", by Jean Michel Jarre. I wore that cassette out within a week and had to go and buy my own copy.
On Christmas 1984, Santa bought me a Yamaha home keyboard and I've been making music ever since, although not on the Yamaha thank goodness.
Sometime shortly afterwards, my School, Newquay Treviglas, had a purpose built recording studio installed, which included an Atari ST computer with Steinbergs Pro 24 software and a Roland D5 Synth. This was to be my introduction to the wonderful, but totally mysterious world of MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface).
In 1988, I was persuaded, reluctantly, by my music teacher, to enter a track into the Music Festival in Truro's first competition for Electronic Compositions and subsequently won first place.
I then took part in a schools programme at BBC Radio 4 in London, who featured my track as the theme music to the series. A couple of brief appearances on BBC Radio Cornwall soon followed.
Several years later, I met the very talented Roger Bolton, a composer for film and television who resided at Peter Gabriels Studios in Bath. I spent several months there watching and learning.
These days, I spend my spare time composing melodic chillout music, more of which you can find by clicking HERE
I also have another project with Swedish artist Soundfreak a.k.a Emil Anderberg called Dream Lab. More details can be found HERE

Hello! Thank you for adding me to your circle of friends. Please dream away in virtual landscapes of (my?) music and visuals. Lots of greetings from Cologne – Germany - Norbert (Cosmic-Project)
Wow! First of all, I want to thank you for your heartfelt comment; those mean a lot to me! Secondly: I am totally blown away by this incredible and well-crafted music. Not only does it immerse me deep in new atmospheres and imaginative landscapes, but it goes far beyond and adds emotional attachment to these places. When "Newquay Sunsets" and "Floating Particles" end, it's almost never long enough! I really admire the beautiful sequencer work, and the effects you get, especially on that former track I mentioned, are stunning. You truly have a golden sound of your own!
Thanks a lot for the add in advance. Nice, to staying in touch... Well, very beautiful music! We're wishing all the best and all success! And, we're connected. Have fantastic times!
