Stuart is 21 years old. He began playing the pipes when he was 12, after he started at Monifieth High School. He first received lessons from Stewart Clarke (ex Scots Guards) and latterly from Anne Spalding. Stuart graduated with a BA Hons in Scottish Music (piping) from the RSAMD in Glasgow. While studying he recieved tuition from Allan MAcdonald, Gavin Stoddart, Gordon Walker, Chris Armstrong and Finlay Macdonald among others. He has played with the Mackenzie Caledonian and Arbroath British Legion Pipe Bands before joining David Urquart Travel Pipe Band on moving through to Glasgow to study and most recently played with the Strathclyde Fire and Rescue pipe band. He learned Guitar when he was 16 in his spare time after school and was taught by Gordon Robertson, a lecturer at Dundee University. Stuart also plays in the duet Slaps and Styles (http://www.bebo.com/grp/Grp.jsp?GrpTypeCd=BD&GrpId=2011553430) with his fellow piper and guitarist Stephen Russell. Stuart recieved a Dewar arts award and and Arts trust of Scotland award in 2006 that allowed hime to buy a set of border pipes (http://www.dewarawards.org/ArtistDetails.aspx?ArtistId=105).

Aw sorry thats crap. I had no luck getting through on the phone or ticket master at all. My friend queud at Ticket Scotland for them. When more go on sale you are best to go mega early in person somewhere obscure that is selling them xx
