Stuart Brett is a talented singer/songwriter and Musician based in Norwich, along with Ricky Woods in the duo 'Brett & Woods' he has played all the Big venues in Norwich and all the places that acoustic acts want to be heard in this region. Such venues as, The Brickmakers Arms in Norwich, The Norwich arts centre, The Birdcage in Norwich, Wensum Lodge, The Electric Fence in wymondham, the acoustic kitchen in Kings Lynn and The Casa Mia in Southwold. The duo appeared on Future radio in Norwich & Blyth Valley Radio in Southwold plus appearing on BBC Radio Norfolk and Cambridge to promote a busk in aid of Cancer research in 2008. 2009 continued with another charity venture which was a short tour in support of Cystic Fibrosis. At the end of the summer Stuart did a solo slot in support of Cancer Research at Norwich's relay for life, at present Stuart is pursuing a solo career in music whilst the duo take a break.... you can find him on showcases or open mic nights around Norwich. Stuart Brett was born in Milton Keynes on October 2nd 1977, this was a result of his mother and father having special cuddles… most likely in January 1977… Nothing much happened until the summer of 1996 when Stuart was talked into the idea of learning guitar and giving life to what was in truth deeply depressing poetry. Throughout the following years Stuart moved through the genres with long term freind Ricky Woods… together they played in a variety of band’s but ended up settling as a duo in 2007. After much deliberation they came up with the duo name ‘Brett & Woods’… So at the moment Stuart has a solo project kind of stop-starting… this is it :)

Stuart Brett is a little bit selfish and plays all the instruments on the recordings... I'm trying very hard to get a band together for live stuff :)
