Aloha from Maui! I'm finally figuring all this myspace stuff out. I wish I had more time to mess around with it so I could make it a full on Tiki and Maui site. Here is a little background about me. I grew up in California, attended Chico State and moved to Maui after graduation. I waited tables and windsurfed every day for a few years before starting my own Graphic Design business. Tradewind Graphics keeps me busy and has lead to many online opportunities. Stuck on Maui is my sticker company. I created a few designs to sell on ebay and the web and soon had them picked up by a local distributor. Mostly flowers, turtle and tiki designs.
I started a Hawaiian Clip Art company to fill a need that I had as a designer in Hawaii. It went so well that I started Island Images a less expensive Hawaiian Clip Art line to compete with the first.
I began collecting Tiki Mugs about 4 years ago and my collection has grown to over 130 mugs. I spend so much time on Tiki Central and ebay looking for and learning about Tiki Mugs, that I have no free time left for much of anything else.
So what does a designer do in his spare time? They create informational websites, just ask HumuHumu. I'm working on Everything-Maui.com a Maui Site and a link resource for everything imaginable on Maui. Please check it out and be sure to click on the ads so I can make some spare change.
