Stuck On Stupid is a talented group of teenagers from the Albany, NY area who have been building a loyal audience and writing their own melodic rock classics for the last three years. The boys have been inspired by timeless artists such as; Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Gun n Roses, and RUSH as well as current wonders; Puddle Of Mudd, Nickelback,Black Stone Cherry and the Foo Fighters to name a few.
Their music reflects the current resurgence of classic/hard rock reflected in a generation that embraces an immortal genre. The band has been gaining national attention after making two appearances on the “CBS Morning Show” in a band contest, including winning their round. Their “classic/hard” music style and professional stage show appeals to a diverse audience from black t-shirted teens to aging baby boomers.
SoS has opened for nationally renowned acts such as Dokken, L.A. Guns, Pat Travers Band and Dom Playing on stage with Tesla. They have headlined many regional shows including a Fox TV broadcast for the Cerebral Palsy Telethon and played at the Times Union Center several times. They have received acclaim from publications and fans alike as a classic in the making.
SoS is made up of guitarist and lead vocalist Dom Brino, bassist/vocalist Adam Albright, drummer/vocalist Garrett Damore and our newest addition JAXX on lead guitar. They have evolved from a local garage band to a regional powerhouse. This is a hard working group of teens that have a strong musical background from their parents. SoS is planning to represent rock at its most powerful and musical growth for generations to come.
Reminder about the upcoming Canton, Ohio 2 day concert, CreekFest Ohio 09 August 28 & 29, 2009 Featuring Mushroomhead, (hed) p.e., Saliva, Smile Empty Soul, Beyond The Rage and more. Over half the floor seats have been reserved, so we thank everyone who has reserved a seat. If you haven’t yet, and wish to sit up close on the floor, please send us a message (not a comment however comments are always welcome) with tickets on the subject line letting us how many you want to reserve, and within the next few days we will message everyone who requested them with where they can be paid for and picked up. This concert will be a historic event for Canton, and we hope everyone can be a part of it! Tickets (both floor and general admission) are limited! I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
