Interests

  • General

Historian, novelist, and lifelong student, because learning is endless. I enjoy reading, writing, photography, and all forms of artistic expression.

"If you can dream it, you can do it!" -Walt Disney..

  • Music

    Mother/Father

  • Movies

I like the old black & white movies best. I enjoy murder mysteries, detective stories, true crime, and horror.

  • Television

CSI-Las Vegas, Ghostly Encounters with Canadian host Lawrence Chau (aka Lance). I think this is a very smart show. Everything is reenacted to portray a haunting and you never have to ask yourself, "Was that real?" or "Were they faking that?"

  • Books

Violet Cove, The Alienist, The Historian, The Inheritance, The Blood Doctor, The Minotaur, Labyrinth, Timeline, Sepulchre, Blackwood Farm, Bag of Bones, Tristan Betrayal, Portrait of a Killer, Lavendar & Old Lace, and many others.

About me:

VIOLET COVE

After months of searching for a house along Oregon's rocky coastline, a Portland couple decides to buy an old Victorian mansion. Once a charming estate, the house is now dilapidated and requires much work. Determined, they set off to make it their dream home, but old houses are not always as charming as they seem. When the new owners begin to piece together the terrible history that occurred within their home, it sets off a chain reaction that leads to a double homicide, but not all the suspects are of the living!

BOOK REVIEW

If you want to read a good murder mystery/ghost story, this is it. Ann Reillet's unique writing style is a breath of fresh air. Her ability to draw you into the story, make you care about the characters, and keep you interested is on a level with well-known, best selling novelists. A little comedy, love, murder, mystery, ghosts. What more do you need in one book? The ending alone is enough to make me want to read it again and when you read it and get to the last word, you'll say exactly what I said, "Wow, I didn't see that coming." Awesome book! I'm glad to have it in my personal library.
