Our "sound" has been described as "ORGANIC DIGITAL". We capture a performance just as it is actually heard in the audience during performance. Many Producers feel they have to alter tracks and players and end up with a sound that is "good to their ears" but in no way a LIVE reproduction. Our style of recording is a throwback to "pre-rock" studio recording, except we use the finest digital equipment and direct-to-hard drive recording. We cover most genres of music performance - we are oriented towards Classical, Choral, Jazz, Rock, Metal, Punk, Country, Folk, Experimental, Voiceover, and more. That's my new CD, "Deacon Blues", the straight ahead organ trio I've been wanting to do for years. It's getting great reviews and lots of radio play - and it's only Jazz; Go figure! The CD features some good friends, including two of my favorite guitarists, Mike DeMicco and the phenomenal Joe Beck. Danny Gottlieb lays down the groove with my brother Tony guesting on bass for a couple of tracks.
