After one day of recording sessions and more than one year of artwork discussions it's finally finished. The result is a piece of music which come off best when you max out your amplifier.

Having jammed together for a long time, the three musicians Sven, Oliver and Helge decided to finally launch „Stufe III“ as a proper band. Mixing up each one’s musical experience such as Bossa, Jazz, Reggae, Funk and Rock, the band sounds groovy and light without missing out the punch.

They even had an enormous impact on Hammond mastermind Tony Monaco on their first gig on the 2nd european contest of Jazzorganists in Cologne. Mr. Monaco appreciated the way Sven played („Man, I love your sound!“). Their second gig was at the Tribute to Laurens Hammond Festival (Quasimodo, Berlin) supporting Wolfagang Roggenkamp and Raphael Wressnig. Stufe III blew the stage and had to work overtime that night. They met with the approval of legendary Pete York. Stufe III’s plans for the future are to evolve their style, to write more songs and to play as much as they can. It’s as simple as that, so stay tuned to their sound and do not miss them!
