the seemingly forgotten pioneers of country music. This band features the
Bakersfield sound. A
twangy, electrified, rock influenced interpretation of hardcore honky tonk music
that emerged in the ‘60’s, formed by artists like Merle Haggard, Buck Owens,
George Jones and Johnny Cash.

honky tonk heroes also perform original music written by front man Stu
Huggens, a time tested veteran of bars and juke joints, plus music of some of
